Angela Travers

Angela Travers joined Generations for Peace USA in November 2022 and currently serves as the Associate Director of Development. She is responsible for advancing fundraising within GFP USA and creating and implementing strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward GFP donors in the USA through a variety of traditional and innovative approaches. She also focuses on increasing and diversifying unrestricted support from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Angela works closely with the GFP USA Executive Director and Board of Directors to establish a comprehensive fundraising strategy for GFP USA.  

Angela holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. She is also a certified facilitator and consultant for 21/64, a nonprofit organization providing multigenerational advising, facilitation, and training for next-generation engagement, especially within family philanthropy and other family enterprises.  

Angela’s experience has included working in several DC-based, international nonprofits to streamline and create strategies around fundraising and communications. Before her social justice work, she oversaw the philanthropic activities of high-net-worth families for over 15 years. 

Angela enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her daughter in her spare time.
