History

Generations For Peace, Inc. (Generations For Peace USA) is a 501c3 nonprofit registered under EIN 46-1577158, with roots in international peacebuilding and development. We were founded in November 2012 by Generations For Peace (GFP), an acclaimed global peacebuilding organization headquartered in Jordan.

Today we are comprised of a skilled US-based team representing diverse identities, geographies, industries, and lived experiences from across the country.

We are united in our shared commitment to apply GFP’s global model to bridge divides, strengthen communities, and build peace in the USA.

In 2019, we began programming in the United States in Chicago and opened an office in Washington, DC. In 2020, we relocated our US headquarters to Nashville, TN, where we are based today.
